William “Billy the Kid” Bonney, despite his young age, was one of the most notorious gunfighters in the Wild West, his life ending in 1881 at the receiving end of Sheriff Pat Garrett’s .44. with the 1873 Cattleman Bonney, Uberti USA recreates the lines of one of the revolvers he used, making it possible for modern shooters to relive the thrill of those long-gone New Mexico days.
This .45 Colt version of the revolver comes with an imitation buffalo-horn grip; a blued, case-hardened steel frame that is as durable as they come; a blade front sight for faster target acquisition; a 6-shot cylinder fluted to reduce weight, improve rigidity, and reduce the chances of the Bonney Uberti barrel overheating; as well as a 5.5-inch barrel with 1:16, RH twist.
