Built to be an improvement on the popular Shield® series, the Performance Center Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus is one pistol any modern shooter will want to add to their collection.

Featuring a barrel that is 4 inches long, a slide that is ready to accept a variety of optics, and a 5 MOA red dot sight that promotes target engagement, this pistol represents the next generation in concealed carry. Both the barrel and slide are made of stainless steel and finished with the corrosion-resistant Armornite® for durability, and the polymer frame is tough as well, making the handgun fit for a long service life.

Offering an 18-degree grip angle for a more natural point of aim and better recoil control, the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm Shield Plus is also equipped with a polymer grip that features interchangeable backstraps for optimal hand fit and trigger reach; an enhanced grip texture that provides a sure grip and helps in recoil management; a PC tuned flat face trigger that offers a tactile and audible reset while promoting consistent finger placement that allows for accurate, repeatable, and comfortable shooting; and a passive trigger safety for safe and reliable use.

A patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems round out the Smith Wesson M&P Shield Plus, making it possible for you to disassemble the pistol without pulling the trigger. The pistol is also extremely thin and lightweight, placing it among the best concealed carry handguns.

Chambered in 9mm and offering more capacity while maintaining the basic dimensions of the Shield 2.0, the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield Plus magazine can accommodate as much as 13 rounds, and the striker-fired pistol ships with one (1) extended magazine that offers 13+1 round capacity, as well as a more concealable flush-fit magazine of 10 rounds.
