The Sandman S is a 6.8-inch long suppressor built with a focus on an efficient baffle design that yields reduced recoil, blowback and noise.

As a shorter version suppressor in Dead Air’s notorious Sandman 7.62mm silencer line, the Dead Air Sandman S features the same stellite and stainless steel construction with a fully welded baffle stack to maintain its optimized durability; a quick-detach (QD) system which incorporates an index pattern for ease of mounting and removal; and a removable front end cap that makes the silencer user-serviceable. The detachable front cap comes with an integrated flash hider.
