The Stoeger Double Defence shotgun with 20” ported barrel; drilled and tapped receiver; standard stock configuration; standard grip; fixed IC chokes; fiber-optic front sight; side-by-side action; single trigger; Picatinny rails; 2-round magazine; and shell extractor.

Designed to be ideal for use in tight quarters and tense situations, the Double Defense shotgun comes in 12 as well as 20-gauge models.

Featured on it is a receiver that has been drilled and tapped to enable easy mounting of scopes; a 20-inch barrel ported to reduce muzzle flip for more accurate shooting; fixed IC chokes; a green, fiber-optic front sight for fast, sure target acquisition in low-light conditions; and two Picatinny rails for sighting aids and optics. The bottom Picatinny rail is factory-installed on the Stoeger Double Defense and will also accommodate accessories.

A standard stock configuration, a standard grip, and a single trigger are additional features of this side-by-side action shotgun. The single-trigger design of the Double Defense and the tang-mounted automatic safety makes it a fast and reliable firearm that's ideal for home security, while the traditional break-action and short, efficient build makes the shotgun easy to load and quick to deploy in an emergency.

The Stoger Double Defense is chambered for 2-3/4", 3" shells; and, for easy removal of spent casings of previously-fired cartridges from the chamber, a shell extractor has also been featured on the firearm.
