The MBUS (Magpul® Back-Up Sight) is a folding backup sight that is color injection molded, adjustable for windage, and cost-effective.

The Magpul Industries MBUS Rear Flip-Up Back Up Sight Gen 2 can still be folded with either the large or small aperture in position. It features protective wings that shield the dual, same plane flip apertures, as well as a detent knob for easy and positive windage adjustment.

As a result of the detent and spring pressure, the spring-loaded flip up MBUS rear sight is kept erect but allows for folding that is unobstructed under impact.

Even though it is lightweight, this sight designed for compatibility with the AR15 / M16 platform is able to withstand operational abuse as it is made of an impact-resistant polymer material. Bear in mind that the Rear MBUS provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons, and clamps to most MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, or to the STANAG 4694 receiver rail.
