Specifically created to address the needs of tactical shooters, the Trijicon night sights features a front sight with a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photo-luminescent paint, as well as a rear sight outlined in black and sporting a wider U-shaped notch. Even in transitional lighting, this novel configuration results to higher visibility and accelerates front sight acquisition.

To assist in emergency one-handed slide operation, The Trijicon HD rear sight comes with a front surface that is steeply hooked. A tritium phosphor-filled glass lamp illuminates the sights for high visibility in all lighting conditions, and these lamps with additional silicone rubber cushioning are protected within aluminum cylinders.

Each Trijicon® tritium lamp featured on this Trijicon HD night sight is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps to distribute the light evenly, while acting as an additional layer of protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.

Overall, the hard duty night sights are designed to shine, even in conditions that are unfavorable. The green tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from date of manufacture.
