Now available for sale at Mister Guns is the FN 509® Compact Tactical that is the smallest and most concealable, yet powerful 9mm tactical pistol available on the market.

This striker-fired autoloader comes with a polymer frame featuring replaceable steel frame rails; and the polymer grip features interchangeable backstraps that allow the shooter to adjust for their preferred grip size, and enhanced texturing to promote recoil management as well as faster follow-up shots in all conditions. The stainless steel barrel sports a recessed target crown, polished chamber and feed ramp, and is threaded to allow for easy addition of a silencer, muzzle brake, or compensator; and the steel slide features an external extractor, a safety-enhancing loaded chamber indicator that provides visual indication when there is a round in the chamber, as well as front and rear cocking serrations that have been improved to make the slide easy to manipulate even with wet or sweaty hands.

The optics-ready 509 FN Compact Tactical pistol is outfitted with suppressor height Trijicon 3-dot green tritium night sights for better targeting, and the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System™ which enables the platform to accept more than ten commercially-available, miniature red dot (MRD) optics that co-witness with the suppressor-height night sights while remaining adaptable to future optics releases with no requirement of direct milling of the slide.

The fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release on this FN 509 Tactical Compact black are easily accessible to all users, a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail allows you to mount accessories like lights and lasers, and the new, flatter faced trigger offers a more controllable trigger press and cleaner break.

The compact FN 509 Tactical is chambered in 9mm and ships with the standard 10- or 12-round magazines, but also accepts all higher capacity FN 509 magazines, such as the 24-round extended magazine, without a hitch. Two interchangeable backstraps, a locking device, an FN logo soft pistol case, and an owner’s manual can also be found in the package.
