The 509 FN pistol that is available for commercial, law enforcement, and military use features a polymer frame with replaceable steel frame/slide rails; black polymer grip with interchangeable backstraps and enhanced grip textures for faster follow-up shots in all conditions; a cold hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel with recessed target crown, polished chamber and feed ramp; and an easily-racked steel slide with an external extractor, loaded chamber indicator and improved front and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation.

Tested extensively for reliability, ammunition compatibility and durability, this FN 509 gun also comes equipped with fixed 3-dot luminescent sights, a MIL-STD-1913 accessory mounting rail for the installation of accessories like lights and lasers, as well as a fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release.

Shipped with the striker-fired FN 509 9mm are two (2) 17-round or two (2) 10-round, high-visibility magazines with a low-friction follower, polymer base plate and black finish; the package also includes two interchangeable backstraps, a locking device, FN logo soft pistol case, and an owner’s manual.
