The FN 509 Midsize MRD is an Optics Ready evolution of the FN 509 Midsize pistol. It is equipped with the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System, and even goes further to provide the option of direct mounting 10+ different miniature red dot optics on its 4” barrel with recessed target crown, polished chamber, and feed ramp. Also featured on the FN 509 Midsize MRD are improved controls that make manipulation easier, a new trigger design that allows for a more controlled trigger press with a cleaner break, fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release, shortened grip for easier concealment, and 2 backstraps with better texture which enable better recoil management. The package includes an FN soft case.
