Both the barrel and slide of the 26 Gen 5 Glock pistol wear the nDLC finish for enhanced scratch and corrosion resistance, and the barrel delivers increased accuracy, thanks to its polygonal rifling and an improved barrel crown.

More features of this handgun include the Glock Safe Action trigger system with three mechanical safeties (trigger, firing pin & drop safety) that are automatic and independently operating, as well as fixed Glock sights that make target acquisition with the Glock G26 Gen 5 9mm easier.
