The Kimber Stainless 2 is an accurate, dependable, and renowned full-size 1911 pistol made entirely of stainless steel.

With exception to the barrel, all the stainless components, including the frame and the slide with front serrations, wear a satin silver finish. The match grade barrel is chambered in .45 ACP and has a left hand twist rate of 16; and the Kimber 1911 Stainless II grips which sport the Kimber logo are made of Rosewood.

Also featured on this pistol is a high-performing, aluminum match grade trigger with a factory setting of 4.0 - 5.0 approximate pounds; a manual (thumb) safety coupled with a beavertail grip safety for secure and confident EDC; and fixed low profile sights for faster target acquisition with the Kimber Stainless 45.
