The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus Performance Center pistol is designed to be an improvement on the popular Shield® line of firearms, and takes concealed carry performance to a whole new level.

It features a stainless steel barrel and slide, both ported to ensure that muzzle flip is minimal, and finished with Armornite® for superior corrosion and wear resistance; an 18-degree grip angle that allows for a more natural point of aim and better recoil control; a grip texture that has been enhanced to provide a more secure grip; as well as a polymer grip with interchangeable backstraps for the best hand fit and easy trigger access.

The Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm Shield Plus also features fiber optic green front, and fiber optic red rear sights riding on top of the slide for fast target acquisition and consistent takedowns; a single-side manual thumb safety and passive trigger safety for enhanced reliability and safer carry; and a flat face trigger that promotes consistent finger placement for shooting that is accurate, repeatable, and comfortable. The PC tuned trigger also offers a reset that is tactile and audible.

Incredibly thin and lightweight, this pistol remains the best choice for concealed carriers. When it comes to cleaning and maintenance, it can as well be disassembled without the need for a trigger pull because the Smith Wesson M&P Shield Plus comes with a patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems.
