To provide enhanced visibility and quicken front sight acquisition, the three-dot green sight set features a unique configuration: the front sight sports a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint, and the rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch.

The metal body housing and silicone rubber cushioning of this Trijicon HD night sight provide shock resistance. To achieve protection from solvents and puncture, as well as ensure even light distribution, each lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel. The silicone rubber cushions which the lamps are mounted on provide shock and heavy recoil resistance, and the lamps are in addition covered and protected by aluminum cylinders.

The Green lamps featured on these Trijicon tritium sights are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture.
