The HK 45 pistol with polymer frame; 4-slot Picatinny rail; 5.2” cold hammer forged, threaded barrel; black steel slide; thumb safety lever; black polymer & plastic grips; adjustable high profile sights; 10-round magazine; and matte black finish.

Developed as an improvement on the highly regarded USP45, the H&K45 incorporates several user-inspired upgrades, including changeable grip panels (or backstraps) for the best hand fit, a Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, more ambidextrous controls, and improved ergonomics.

Capable of firing standard .45 ACP ball through +P ammunition, the pistol also combines the accuracy, modularity, reliability and minimum 20,000 round service life of the USP45 with the improved ergonomics of the P2000; and this Variant 1 model is a DA/SA with a manual safety/decocking lever on left side of frame.

More of the HK45 pistol’s features include adjustable high profile sights for efficient targeting; HK's unique internal mechanical recoil reduction system that lowers the recoil forces imparted to the weapon and shooter by as much as 30%, improving shooter control during rapid firing and increasing component service life; and a barrel that is cold hammer forged barrel for superior performance and threaded to enable the attachment of muzzle devices such as a suppressor.
