Built on a forged carbon steel chassis that is lightweight yet tough and durable, the 1911 Loaded is equipped with an impressively accurate match grade, 1:16 twist barrel made of forged stainless steel; a forged carbon steel slide with forward cocking serrations for easy manipulation; low-profile, no-snag tritium sights for better target acquisition; Pachmayr® wraparound grips that provide unparalleled shooting comfort; an extended lightweight trigger; and an equally extended ambidextrous thumb safety as well as generous beavertail that optimize the gun’s tactical capabilities.
