This Smith and Wesson M&P Shield Plus handgun has a polymer frame and grip with an enhanced grip texture that allows the user to manage recoil and keep a firm grasp, as well as an optimal 18-degree angle for natural point of aim and ease of concealment. It also features a slide cut for optics and coated with Armornite® for corrosion resistance; night sights for enhanced target acquisition in low light; and a flat face trigger for consistent trigger finger placement that allows for more accurate and repeatable shooting with the Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield Plus. The trigger reset is tactile and audible, and the M&P's patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems allow for disassembly without pulling the trigger.

Extremely thin and lightweight, this pistol can be comfortably carried all day. Its Armornite finish makes it corrosion resistant and durable; and one, 13-round plus one, 10-round magazines are included in the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus package. The extended magazine offers 13+1 round capacity.
