Its modified drop point blade is razor-sharp, made of high-performance Sandvik 14C28N steel, and given a matte black look through a process that results to the Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating which is hard and scratch resistant. Great for slicing and piercing tasks, the blade is also edge retaining and easy to resharpen.

The Kershaw Leek Knife comes with dual thumbstuds, and a “flipper” blade tab both of which, aided by the manufacturer’s popular SpeedSafe assisted opening technology, enable fast and easy one-handed opening of the folder. When the blade is in use, a super-secure frame lock keeps it so; and a Tip-Lock slider ensures the blade stays closed when the knife is folded.

Other features of the 1660CKT Leek include a clean, sleek-looking handle made of pure 410 stainless steel, DLC-coated like the blade, and contoured for comfort; a lanyard hole drilled into the handle for lanyard attachment; and a stainless steel pocket clip.
