Featuring side buttons that allow the user to position it close to the magnifier to reduce rail space, this sight comes with two (2) 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries able to power up to 2,200 continuous hours of operation at nominal setting 12 and room temperature. The Eotech 552 optic also supports lithium (2,500 continuous hours) and rechargeable batteries.
