The MBUS (Magpul® Back-Up Sight) – a folding backup sight that is color injection molded, adjustable for windage, and quite affordable, is now available at Mister Guns.

Easily activated from either side or by pressing the top, the Magpul Industries MBUS Rear Flip-Up Back Up Sight Gen 2 can still be folded with either the large or small aperture in position. It features protective wings that shield the dual, same plane flip apertures, in addition to a detent knob that easily and positively adjusts windage.

This spring-loaded flip up MBUS rear sight is kept erect but allows for unobstructed folding under impact, thanks to the detent and spring pressure.

Specifically tailored to the AR15 / M16 platform, the sight is lightweight yet able to withstand operational abuse given its impact-resistant polymer construction. Bear in mind that the Rear MBUS clamps to most MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, or to the STANAG 4694 receiver rail, and provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons.
