Magpul MS3 Gen2 Sling

The Magpul Sling MS3 Gen 2 with hardened steel/heavy-duty polymer material; quick-adjust slider; symmetrical paraclip shackles; cross-bolt lock bar; increased webbing length; and coyote brown color.

Built to allow an operator leverage the maneuverability of one-point attachment for direct action, or two-point attachment for stability; as well as to make single-hand adjustments and quick-release possible, the Magpul MS3 incorporates a new low profile quick-adjust slider which minimizes bulk and allows for secure, yet effortless, sling adjustment. In order to ensure a comfortable fit with all body types and armor configurations, the overall length of the webbing has been increased, too.

Thanks to its hardened steel and heavy-duty polymer construction, the Magpul MS3 Sling Gen2 is set for a long service life. It goes ahead to feature symmetrical Paraclip shackles which allow for easy transition and quick-release capabilities in an emergency; and, for extra security, a cross-bolt lock bar in each Paraclip with which you can optionally lock its lever closed.

The strong and wear resistant, custom 1.25 inches wide nylon webbing material remains anti-chaff for user comfort; this MS3 Gen 2 Sling webbing is also colored and has been Near Infrared (NIR) treated to keep IR signature to a minimum.

A versatile weapon-retention solution for a multitude of tactical environments and missions, this sling can be used in conjunction with the Magpul ASAP® plate (sold separately) for seamless transitions into an array of shooting positions without getting bound or fouled. In addition to allowing switching from Weapon Shoulder to Reaction Shoulder for shooting around corners, under vehicles, or to minimize exposure, the Magpul MS3 Single QD Gen2 Sling can as well increase operator survivability by – in case of injury to the operator's shoulder, arm, or hand – keeping the weapon in the fight.

Sling Mounting

REAR - Works with the Magpul ASAP as well as the SGA Receiver Sling Mount for optimal shoulder transitioning in one-point mode. Also compatible with many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels.

FRONT - Compatible with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mount, as well as many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels for use in two-point mode. Snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8 inches are required, but 9/16 inches and larger will provide full range of motion.
