Now for sale at Mister Guns is the Shadow Systems DR920P Elite – a full sized, 17+1 pistol with an integrated compensator built into the barrel. Because the built-in compensator does not utilize a threaded barrel, the DR920P is compliant in many jurisdictions that have threaded-barrel-bans.

The comp and slide are machined to give a single-piece appearance, while the novel design allows for rapid removal and attachment of the comp for cleaning. The patent-pending integrated compensator of this DR920P Shadow Systems pistol aligns automatically without the need for set screws or other friction devices; and the green tritium front sight is mounted directly on top of the comp for faster shot-to-shot tracking, and paired with a blacked out serrated rear sight.

This pistol is designed to fit G34 holsters, and it comes bearing features customers have come to expect from Shadow Systems, including an aggressively textured frame with interchangeable backstraps that adjust the point of aim of the Shadow Systems DR920P; an extended beavertail; a recoil control ledge that is textured; a bronze TiCN-finished, match-grade, spiral-fluted barrel which of course boasts the patent-pending comp attachment system that utilizes an easy-to-detach pin system to mount the compensator; as well as a drop-safe and carry-safe, flat faced trigger with a 4.5-5 lbs pull weight and a crisp, tactile reset.

The Shadow Systems DR920P Elite is offered with the Elite model slide which includes front and rear directional serrations, a weight-optimizing window cut, and Shadow Systems' patented multi-footprint optic system. The optic cut allows for direct-to-slide mounting of most major brands of red dot optics – no intervening plates or adapters needed.
