The MR920 from the Shadow Systems Foundation Series is built on the same world-class frame as all pistols from the manufacturer. It features an optimized wrap-around texture that gives supreme control during rapid fire without wearing uncomfortably against the body when concealed. The grip boasts three interchangeable backstraps that change not the size of the grip but the angle of the bore, and as a result the MR920 Foundation frame can be tailored to the shooter's natural point of aim.

Also featured is a match grade, smooth-finish, unthreaded nitride barrel rated for +P ammo and conventially rifled; a nitrided slide with pocket-cut serrations and the patented multi-footprint optic cut which allows for a direct mount of most major optic brands on the Shadow Systems Foundation MR920 with the longest and strongest screws in the industry; and steel sights (consisting of a plain black serrated rear and white dot front) that afford a lower 1/3 cowitness with most optics. The nitride finish on the steel parts provides superior protection against corrosion and wear.

Internals include a drop-safe polymer trigger with a 4.5-5.0-pound trigger pull and a crisp, tactile reset, as well as a carbon steel guide rod that adds weight where it matters most, helping to reduce recoil and promote accuracy in follow-up shots with the Shadow Systems MR920 Foundation which ships with two (2) 15-round magazines, 3 backstraps, and an optics kit.
