Much more than just another striker-fired pistol, it comes packed with outstanding features, including a frame made of high strength, impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced polymers as the aim was to build a firearm able to withstand and endure all types of military use and abuse in extremely harsh environmental conditions. The Masada Gun features in addition, polymer grips with interchangeable wrap-around back-straps of various sizes (S, M, L); an enhanced grip texture that promotes faster follow-up shots in all conditions; a deep beavertail which makes the pistol to fit a wide variety of hand sizes; a steel slide serrated at the front and rear for positive finger traction at all times; fixed 3-dot sights to help you target better; and a low profile barrel for reduced perceived recoil. To enable the attachment of compatible muzzle devices, the barrel boasts 1/2 x 28 threads.

The enhanced ergonomics of the IWI Massada provides a natural and instinctive pointing grip angle; controls, including a slide stop lever and magazine release, are fully ambidextrous; and the trigger is designed to enhance the shooter’s accuracy and safety. This trigger has a 6 lb. pull with a clean, crisp break and positive reset, and the pistol will not fire unless it is pulled, thanks to a built-in trigger safety. The large trigger guard allows for use with or without gloves; and to enable simple disassembly and maintenance, the modular serialized, high grade steel trigger mechanism housing can be easily removed.

As an optics-ready platform, the Masada Tactical is designed to be used with the Trijicon RMR, Vortex Venom, Leupold Delta Point Pro, and Sig Romeo1 optics. Respective adapter plates and screws for each of these optics allow the optic to mount directly to the pistol’s slide. The IWI Masada magazine, of which two are included in the package, is made of steel and can accommodate 17 rounds.
