The TS2 is a championship-level sport pistol developed in close cooperation with elite shooters on the CZ Shooting Team. Like other pistols in the CZ TS 2 series, it can be used for several practical shooting disciplines, but its parameters have been primarily optimized for competing in the IPSC Standard division and USPSA Limited division.

For increased accuracy, better recoil control and a significantly longer service life, this CZ TS2 pistol has been equipped with a cold hammer-forged, bull barrel which is 5.2 inches long. Hand-fitted barrel-to-slide and slide-to-frame for the tightest tolerances, it also features a steel slide with extra serrations on the top front edge to ensure more comfortable cocking; orange aluminum grips that give it a bright, unique look; higher positioned ambidextrous safeties; a magazine release button slightly reduced in height; fiber optic front, and checkered rear sights; as well as a CZ Shadow 2 Orange style front attachment system for quick and easy sight removal.

The 20-round magazine offers adequate firepower for competition, while the modified recoil spring guide simplifies disassembly.
