Because it features an easy-to-clean design with a patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems, you can easily disassemble the Smith and Wesson EZ 380 without a trigger pull, and the handgun also comes with a crisp, light trigger that offers a noticeably tactile and audible trigger reset; an optimal 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim; a polymer grip with grip texture optimized to size and recoil; a grip safety that stops the pistol from firing till it is gripped; and a tactile loaded chamber indicator (TLCI) that allows you to see as well as feel if the chamber is empty or not.

A Picatinny-style equipment rail has also been featured so you can mount your favorite accessories, and the white dot front and rear sights atop the S&W 380 EZ slide empower you to engage targets more easily. The rear sight is windage adjustable (tool included).
