The next generation of the Bren, the CZ Bren 2Ms made first landfall in the US in pistol form with two chamberings and multiple barrel lengths.

Having undergone several changes, the pistol is now noticeably lighter, yet more robust with a lower made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, and an aluminum receiver that has been trimmed-down.

Offered in a clean-sheet design, the Bren 2Ms features a shorter, 9-inch barrel that is cold hammer forged to deliver enhanced accuracy; a modular forend that can be swapped to different lengths; a flush rear plate with a provision for attaching an AR-style buffer tube for the installation of pistol stabilizing devices like an arm brace or cheek rest; a charging handle that stays stowed in the forward position till when needed, and is swappable from side to side, making it useful as a forward assist; as well as stippled polymer grips that feel comfortable and secure.

The CZ Bren 2 Ms features ambidextrous controls, including a manual safety, an AR-style bolt catch/release system, and a magazine release nestled into the front of the trigger guard. This makes the pistol right- as well as left-handed user-friendly. This model comes chambered in 7.62×39, and one (1) AR-15/M16 30-round magazine is shipped with it.

For users who wish to SBR, a Carbine buffer tube and stock can be installed on the handgun, or the entire rear plate removed and replaced with a factory folding/adjustable stock. All variants of this CZ Ben 2 pistol are also swappable to different barrel lengths and chamberings.
