Blue Force Gear developed the Patent Pending Vickers Combat Applications Sling with industry friend, expert, also former 1st SFOD-Delta operational member Larry Vickers, and author of the Vickers Guide series of firearms books; and since then the way automatic rifles are carried has been revolutionized.

Based on insights gleaned from real life experience, the two-point sling has been design to include a patented Quick Adjuster with Contrasting Pull Tab, an Invista solution dyed CORDURA webbing, and a glass reinforced DuPont Zytel nylon hardware that, unlike plastic hardware, is more flexible, lighter, and stronger.

Designed to fit standard M4 carbines as well as other carbines and rifles, this Vickers variant that wears a black multicam color can be mounted upside down (Adjuster to the rear) on traditional bolt action rifles and shotguns for muzzle up carry. Its length can also be adjusted to accommodate different sized weapons, with or without body armor. With the Adjuster tightened, the maximum length of this unpadded sling is 54 inches; and with it fully extended, it is 64 inches.
