Tested extensively for reliability, ammunition compatibility and durability, the 509 FN pistol comes featuring a polymer frame with replaceable steel frame/slide rails; a polymer grip with interchangeable backstraps and enhanced grip textures for faster follow-up shots in all conditions; a cold hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel with recessed target crown, polished chamber and feed ramp; and an easily-racked steel slide with an external extractor, improved front and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation, and a loaded chamber indicator for enhanced safety.
