Now available to the commercial market, the Glock 47 Gen 5 MOS was originally developed for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2019.

Offering the same reliability and performance as the G17 Gen5 MOS, and designed to maintain parts compatibility with the G17 Gen5 MOS, G19 Gen5 MOS, and G45 MOS, the Glock 47 MOS 9mm is equipped with a shortened dust cover, and a 4.49-inch Glock Marksman barrel that is impressively accurate.

The handgun also features several modifications, including the new barrel rifling and crown which improved accuracy; ambidextrous slide stop levers which allow both left-handed and right-handed users to quickly, comfortably, and safely manipulate the Glock 47MOS slide; a grip without finger grooves to improve the ergonomics of the grip and deliver consistent comfort as well as improved control to a wider range of consumers, regardless of hand size; and a flared mag-well. The larger opening found in the mag-well of Glock Gen 5 pistols makes quicker and easier magazine changes possible, especially in high-stress situations where fractions of a second matter.
