It features a single-action-only (SAO) trigger that is lighter and crisper, giving the target-shooting enthusiast the ability to achieve a high level of precision. The SA requires the hammer to be cocked in order for the CZShadow2 to fire.

This handgun is in addition equipped with a steel frame wearing a layer of CZ’s hardy black polycoat finish; a set of blue aluminum grips with aggressive checkering to match the fine front and backstrap checkering of the pistol; and a steel slide on top of which sit a set of target sights consisting of a fiber optic front and a serrated, black HAJO rear sight that is click adjustable for elevation, and drift adjustable for windage.

The CZ Shadow 2 barrel is cold hammer-forged to deliver better accuracy; the swappable magazine release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings to allow shooters set it in the spot most comfortable for them; a Picatinny rail with one slot is provided to allow you attach a light or laser for better performance with the CZ Shadow 2 in poor lighting conditions; and the ambidextrous manual safety switch promotes safe use of the pistol.
