This 22/45 Mark IV pistol comes ready for action with a comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame featuring a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap; a 4.4-inch, cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity, in addition to 1/2"-28 threads for popular muzzle accessories plus thread protector; and a spacious, top-mounted Picatinny rail which lets you mount a variety of tactical accessories for improved performance with the Ruger 22/45 Mark 4.

The internal cylindrical bolt construction of this pistol ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs, and the bolt stop is quite ergonomic. Also featured is a contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears that allow for durable and reliable operation round after round; as well as checkered, 1911-style grip panels for a great appearance, and to enable you grasp the Mark IV 22 comfortably and securely.

With included washer, you can convert the ambidextrous manual safety to left-side only; the accurate sighting system features an adjustable rear sight and a fixed front one for fast target engagement; the magazine easily drops free on release – thanks to the conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame – for convenient reloading; and the magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 magazine has been detached.

Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. This is because the pistol is designed for simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping plus proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning.

Two, 10-round magazines are included in the package, and the Ruger 22 45 is compatible with the Silent-SR® sound suppressor.
